BJ serves as the Senior Pastor of Milan Baptist Church, where he’s passionate about preaching God’s Word with clarity, conviction, and compassion. With a background in church planting and 17 years of missionary service in Tanzania, he brings both global perspective and local heart to every message and ministry effort.

His teaching is rooted in Scripture, filled with practical application, and often sprinkled with humor. He leads with a shepherd’s heart, a teacher’s mind, and a deep burden to equip the next generation. Whether he’s discipling one-on-one, guiding strategic vision, or kicking off a church-wide whiffle ball game, BJ is committed to helping others know Christ and make Him known.
